Peter Cody was born in Tralee, Ireland. In 1990, he graduated with a first class honours degree from Dublin Institute of Technology and Trinity College Dublin. Following graduation he worked with Alvaro Siza in Oporto until 1995 where he worked on a number of notable buildings including Chiado In Lisbon, the Teachers Training College, Setubul and the Gallcian Centre of Contemporary Art in Santiago de Compostela.
