Applying to The Glasgow School of Art?
We offer a range of events throughout the year to get the right application information at the right time, online and in person.
Pre-Application Advice Session: Interaction Design
This event is for you if:
- You are interested in applying to Interaction Design.
- You are a prospective undergraduate student.
- You are in the process of making an application or are about to make one.
This is an opportunity to pop in to GSA and visit a specific department as part of a small specialised group. Visit studios, ask more direct questions in person with other applicants and interact with staff and students. You will receive advice directly from that department on applying to them, submitting a portfolio and producing a personal statement.
This event includes:
- a short presentation on the contemporary context, how to apply, entry requirements and further programme details
- a tour of the interaction design studio
- Q&A session
During this event, you will be able to see students working on Creative Coding and Physical Computing pieces in the studio alongside final year research projects. This includes expressively drawing with code and creating electronics to physically interact with graphics and sound.
Programme staff Jen Sykes and Paul Maguire will be available to answer your questions.
