Rahbaran Hürzeler is an architecture office founded by Shadi Rahbaran and Ursula Hürzeler in Basel, Switzerland. The work ranges in all scales and programs from object design to architectural planning and urban strategy.

Shadi Rahbaran studied at the University of Toronto, and then went on to work at various offices including Bruce Mau Design and OMA. She has been involved in teaching and urban research at ETH Studio Basel with Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron from 2007 to 2013, has taught at Cornell University and has been a guest critic at various other schools. She is currently involved in teaching and urban research at the Design Lab of Kyoto Institute of Technology in Japan.

Ursula Hürzeler received her degree from ETH Zürich, and has worked at a variety of offices in Switzerland and Spain, being project manager for the Beirut Terraces high rise for Herzog & De Meuron in Lebanon, as well as other large-scale projects. She has been involved in the design of the Jungkunst art exhibitions in Switzerland, and currently teaches at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Basel.

Shadi and Ursula co-founded their office in 2011 in Basel, and have since been working on a variety of projects.The offices was nominated for several awards including Beton Suisse Awards for different projects.
