This year Missing in Architecture are delighted to be running the Friday Lecture Series The Time Is NOW. The series asks a selection of architects to talk about how the profession can make a difference in tackling the climate emergency, and connects to Glasgow hosting COP26.
This week, Mackintosh School of Architecture and Missing in Architecture host Sofie Pelsmakers, a chartered architect and environmental designer who is Associate Professor at Tampere University in Finland. Her long standing passion for sustainable architecture, sustainable housing design, teaching and research has most recently culminated in her new book ‘Everything Needs to Change: Architecture and the Climate Emergency’.
