This year Missing in Architecture are delighted to be running the Friday Lecture Series The Time Is NOW. The series asks a selection of architects to talk about how the profession can make a difference in tackling the climate emergency, and connects to Glasgow hosting COP26.
This week, Mackintosh School of Architecture and Missing in Architecture host Sumita Singh, Director of Ecologic Architects, a small, collaborative and creative practice. By following agile and innovative ways of working, the practice has produced a diverse range of works from commissioned art to books. The common threads through the projects have been the integration of sustainable design and public engagement. Ecologic has worked on projects in the UK, Spain, France and India. Ecologic has presented its work at the RIBA, through architecture journals and popular magazines, and exhibitions such as Grand Designs.
