The Amateur Library
Part of Graduate Degree Show 2015
The Amateur Library is an on-going research project. It proposes that, in a pervasive culture of professionalism, amateurism might provide useful strategies and vocabulary for re-imagining creative practice. The online library holds a collection of essays, and is accompanied by an ad hoc newsletter with contributions from artists and amateurs alike.
During Graduate Degree Show 2015, The Amateur Library will be in residence at the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) on Sauchiehall Street.
