Please join us for the annual UK Indoor Environments Group (UKIEG) conference at The Glasgow School of Art, aimed at bringing together research and case studies on indoor environments and health in buildings. 

Hosted by the GSA's Mackintosh Environmental Architecture Research Unit (MEARU) and supported by the HEMAC network, the event will mark the first time the UKIEG annual conference will be held in Scotland. The one day conference will welcome invited talks from distinguished speakers, including Prof Jan Sundell (Tsinghua University Beijing), presentations, discussion, a poster session and networking opportunities.


Call for Abstracts

Topics may include (but are not limited to):

  • Psychological and physiological effects of the indoor built environments (to include light, sound, spatial characteristics, hygrothermal conditions, indoor air quality and visual comfort)
  • Indoor environmental quality tools, standards, policies and regulations
  • Ventilation performance and exposure to indoor air contaminants
  • Occupant behaviour, control and environmental psychology
  • Indoor environmental quality in new build or retrofitted buildings

Email your abstract (max 300 words) in Word format to g.mcgill@gsa.ac.uk by the deadline of 28 February 2017. Please specify if you are applying for an oral or poster slot.


Registration

Standard registration is £65 for UKIEG members and £120 for non-UKIEG members.
