This Degree Show project is an investigation into illusions of depth and movement, exploring the possibilities through screen-printing when considering such qualities for fabric. CMYK screen-printing, using procion dyes, has functioned as both a developmental and technical process when translating these ideas onto fabric. Allowing for a learned understanding of colour mixing and fabric awareness through investigations on materials such as cotton poplin, jersey, sweatshirt, cotton drill and wool.

Studying the process in depth has allowed for successful recreation of fluid colour blends through photographic separation, and additionally experiments with metallic substrates sit comfortably beside the CMYK fabrics, altering the handle of stretch materials.

Completely executed by hand the collection illustrates a bold use of colour and composition, pertaining to a menswear aesthetic.
