Research Interests: environmental architecture - focus on solar energy housing applications (passive/hybrid thermal; electrical), initially to address fuel poverty, now carbon-neutral design. Within this field, much work directed at resolving the gap between prediction and performance, in particular user-control-interface with special interest in solar pre-heated ventilation air.
