Michael is a Creative Economy Innovation Leadership Fellow at the Innovation School, with experience in the development and delivery of participatory engagement to inform product, service, digital and organisational innovation. His research centres on making the effects, viability and value of creative work more explicit within complex collaborative contexts through design innovation approaches. By combining principles of actor-network theory with qualitative modes of analysis and evaluation, Michael is developing visual mapping methods to support reflexive discourse on the value of creative enterprise and innovation, framing design as a performative act.
