The Glasgow School of Art

This course is designed for those who have used oil paint before and who wish to advance the development of their work in rendering a greater sense of three-dimensional space and realism. In addition to colour mixing, tone, composition and the application of paint being explored through a series of progressive exercises, the course also aims to alter the students’ way of seeing and interpreting of subject matter.

Discounted Fee Information
If you are a senior citizen in receipt of a state pension, unemployed or a full time FE or HE student, the discounted fee as stated in the course description is applicable - use Promotion code SS_23.  You will be required to email a scanned copy of your evidence to open-studio@gsa.ac.uk. For customers booking two or more courses over the Summer, a discounted rate is also available -use Promotion Code Multi_23. To benefit from the Discounted Fees, you need to select the course(s) you want to attend and enter the relevant code in the ‘Promotion Code’ box.  Discounts given at time of booking only.  No discounts for Portfolio or Children’s courses.
