This course will help you to explore and experiment with a range of techniques and media including mark making, line, texture colour, pattern, scale, layering, collage, mixed media and repeat patterns. The use of a sketchbook will be discussed and how this is beneficial for this process and how to develop this as a regular practice. By the end of the week you will have started to produce initial design ideas in a series of research sheets, creating your own uniquely designed patterns Experimentation will be a key factor to this course and is suitable for all abilities.   NB – This is a 4 day course (Tues-Fri)
