Sneha’s research focuses on participatory design in care, wellbeing and health, addressing questions about equitable and just futures. Grounded in situated knowledges and social justice, her work explores how lived experience and underrepresented perspectives can shape decision-making through co-design. Sneha is interested in reshaping collaborative practices using relational, plural and intersectional approaches, developing creative methods that challenge power relations and foreground diverse forms of knowledge. This work contributes to changing practice and policy and fostering fairer outcomes for people and communities. At the Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre, Sneha leads projects bringing together citizens, communities and professionals across government, the NHS, social care, industry and the third sector. She has secured research funding from UKRI and SUII as Principal and Co-Investigator. Sneha’s professional contributions include peer reviews for leading journals and research grants. She is a member of the international Social Design Network and RSE Young Academy of Scotland.
