The GSA has a range of scholarships available to new students. If you have been given a conditional or unconditional offer of study at the GSA, you may be eligible to apply for one of our scholarships. Some of our scholarships offer a contribution towards your tuition fees and others provide a maintenance grant to assist with your living costs during your time as a student. The value of the scholarship does not reflect the full cost of undertaking full-time study and, unless otherwise stated.

The GSA scholarship application deadline for 2023/24 has passed.  The GSA scholarships for 2024/25 will be published on this website in April 2024.

Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarships

If you have been given a conditional or unconditional offer of study on one of our undergraduate or postgraduate programmes, you may be eligible to apply for one of our scholarships.

The application form can be downloaded HERE.

How to apply for Scholarships

If you are eligible, you can apply for a maximum of two scholarships, and only one application form is required to apply for both scholarships. Scholarships are not awarded on a first come first served basis, but as there is a high demand, we cannot accept late applications. As the scholarship committees will be looking at a high number of applications, you should clearly explain why you need the funding and how it will support you to succeed with your studies at the GSA. Unless stated otherwise, scholarships will be awarded based only on the information you provide in your application form (and relevant supporting documents or artwork, where this is a requirement) so make sure everything is clear. Only applicants that meet all of the eligibility criteria of the scholarship(s) will be considered.

Scholarship applications will not be assessed until after the application deadline on 31st May 2024.

Most scholarships only require a completed and signed application form with a copy of your Conditional or Unconditional offer letter/email. Do not send information that has not been specifically requested in the criteria. Please do not send zip files or Pages documents. If the scholarship(s) you are applying to ask for supporting documents, please email us clear copies. You should only email copies of documents that are required, and the quantity of documents supplied will not increase your chance of an award. All documents must be in English and financial amounts translated to UK Pounds Sterling. There is no need to send copies of certificates for examinations. You will receive an email notification acknowledging receipt of your application within three working days of your application being submitted.

All decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
